This house should be on the national register. According to my dad it was on the tax rolls back in 1865.

I always found this area so charming. Even in 1975, you could still encounter cattle being walked down the roads . . . every day.

Another one for Bobobonehead - - the house on Waddington, in Ferndale, as it appeared in 2004. We went through on our roadtrip, just to see what everything looked like now, & to show Kelsey where I'd lived way back when. They'd done quite a lot of improving to the house . . but some things, like the old wood shed out back, were still the same.

Also on the way back from Ferndale. This year one of the relatives told me not to say that I will always have a lot of hair because I could get cancer and go through chemo and loose all my hair. She is also the woman who tells the ladies in the family they're fat. She needs to learn that what she says is rude and inappropriate.

Also known as Ferndale. This was on the way back from the Adams Family Thanksgiving. Damien and I are constantly trying to go to everything. Someday we'll just give up and trade off years but we are having three Thanksgivings this year. One down two to go.

Still on the way back from Ferndale. A cow had gotten loose and was running down the road. We passed it slow so as not to scare it and it mooed at us.
